WHO WILL BE THE NIGERIAN CURIOSITY OF 2009?

Sunday, February 21, 2010

Have you nominated someone or something to be the Nigerian Curiosity of 2009?

The race is still on to determine the Nigerian Curiosity of 2008. Who or what would you recommend? A villain? A dreamer? An activist? A concept? An organization? It doesn't matter who or what as long as it/(s)he arguably had an impact on Nigeria and Nigerians.

So far, President Yar'Adua and his sickness have been nominated. I can think of a few other possibilities. Can you?

Yardy is has to be the "curiosity" of 2009 - I mean what the hell makes the man tick? How did such a person become president of 150+ million people? Where is he? When did he last have sex? Ok I had to add that to humour myself. Next would be the "knicker bomber" Do young men in particular still wear y-fronts? What age is this guy living in? Why did he return to his seat and fiddle under a blanket when he could have blown himself up in the toilet - a more fitting place for a seemingly idiotic misguided individual who has caused immeasurable harm to Nigerians everywhere.

Not least Nigeria's human rights record has gone off the richter scale with assasinations by police /mopo, JTF and political thugs.

OK thats it - I'm out.

I say Mutallab...no one did it like him...got people talking left right and center and put Nigeria on the map for "terrorist countries of interest"... The Nigerian constitution comes in a close second...and Incapacitated President Yardie comes in third with style.....
