The flight of Nigerians to western countries is inevitable and the Nigerian govt, rather than complain about it, should, as you said, find a way to harness such desires on the part of emigrants to invest back into their communities - either through remittances, setting up businesses, or intellectual capital. The prospect of opening up the votes to Nigerians in diaspora is an interesting one.
